† THE FIRST COLLECTION:
The Priest's Collection -

Food and presbytery housekeeping expenses
Priest’s monthly personal allowance of $325
Holiday allowance of $500 per annum
15% of the total Priest’s Collection for the support of the Bishop

Any money left over is sent to the Clergy Trust Fund every 6 months. This is a kind of insurance cover for priests. Out of the C.T.F. priests are paid:

1. All medical, dental and optical expenses
2. Sabbatical travel allowance of about $3,000 every 7 years
3. Retirement accommodation and living allowance

† THE SECOND COLLECTION:
This Collection is for the maintenance and upkeep of the parish as well as the wider needs of the Diocese, National and Universal Church. The second Collection income is banked into the Parish Account
